If you know the classic Disney Villainous, then Villainous: Unstoppable! from Ravensburger is a completely different game. It is neither another expansion nor a simplified edition of the original game, but rather a standalone title inspired by Villainous, aimed primarily at families and younger players. The biggest change here is the level of complexity.

Review
The rules in this version are much simpler than in the classic Villainous. All characters follow a similar gameplay structure, and the game features well-known villains such as Hades, the Maleficent, Scar, and Ursula.
The villains still have their own decks, objectives, and thematic flavor, but the mechanical differences between them are smaller, and each game is much faster to play (20–30 minutes).

Each turn is very straightforward:
- Discard a card from your hand to move.
- Perform the action available at your current location.
- Play cards or advance your plan.
- Avoid heroes who interfere with your objective.
Unlike classic Villainous, the focus is on smooth gameplay and quick decisions rather than complex card combinations.

Disney Villainous: Unstoppable! is a suitable family game when younger children are involved. It serves as a very good introduction to the Villainous universe, mainly thanks to its short playtime, Disney atmosphere, and beautiful original artwork.
On the downside, the gameplay may feel too simple for fans of the classic Villainous. The asymmetry between characters is significantly reduced, and the game does not offer the same depth of strategic decision-making as the original.

This title is not intended to compete with the classic Villainous for experienced players. Instead, it is a family-oriented game that can serve as an excellent bridge between simple children’s games and the more demanding Villainous experience. It is clearly aimed at families with children aged 7–10, and that is where it is likely to find its audience.
